V&A performed coating specification and cathodic protection system design services for the Pomerado Park Reservoir Upgrades Project. The City of San Diego maintains and operates the Pomerado Park Reservoir. The welded stainless steel reservoir tank was equipped with a temporary impressed current cathodic protection (ICCP) system, and the exterior coating contained lead. Conducted site visits to assess the corrosion on the structure and clarify the design. V&A provided ICCP system rehabilitation and design services for a new permanent ICCP system.
V&A delivered lead abatement specifications and provided recommendations and cost estimates for the process. V&A prepared a detailed technical memorandum with findings and recommendations alongside a preliminary design report.
